Conversations and Connections - Jewish Women Together

The Women's Board Presents Conversations and Connections - Secrets of Remarkable Jewish Women: Chicago's Very Own Share Their Personal, Professional and Jewish Accomplishments. Join us as we hear 3 outstanding members of our community, Melissa Isaacson, Margot Pritzker and Dr Laurie Zoloth, as they share their compelling stories with us. The evening promises to be memorable - we hope you can join us. We recommending registering as soon as possible since this event sold out last year.

YWC 2009 Parlor Event with Riki Mullu

Please join us at our second annual Parlor Event, which celebrates women who make a 2009 donation of $750 or more. Our featured speaker is Riki Mullu, a young Ethiopian jeweler and founder of Chassida Shmella Ethiopian Jewish Community in North America, an organization which seeks to help Ethiopian Jews assimilate into the greater Jewish community in America and keep their connection to Israel. Riki will recount her personal journey from Ethiopia to Israel with us and will showcase her bold, bright jewelry made of Ethiopian silver, bronze, a rich array of natural stones and beads.
